Dril-Flex® Structural Self-Drilling Fasteners

The dual hardness of these self-drilling screws results in a fastener which offers virtual immunity to hydrogen assisted brittle failures which can plague like fasteners with standard heat treatment. They are the fasteners of choice in critical curtainwall construction and other applications where dissimilar metals (usually aluminum) are involved.

HangerMate® Threaded Rod Anchoring System

HangerMate anchors are used for hanging 1/4-20 & 3/8-16 threaded rod from wood, steel or concrete. Parts are available for vertical or horizontal mount. The HangerMate LG is specially designed for light guage applications. The entire product line is comprised of our unique one piece design and standardized drive socket so one driver fits all.

UltraCon® Masonry Anchoring System

Previously sold for over 25 years under the Tapcon® name. These are the same parts with a new name. We offer a very wide selection of parts in a variety of corrosion resistant colors. They are available in 3/16", 1/4" and 5/16" diameters with standard and undersized head confi gurations in lengths to 6". A variety of installation tools are available to speed up installation.

CreteFlex® SS4 Stainless Steel Masonry Fastening System

These 410 stainless steel parts receive a special heat treat. The combination of stainless and the Elco Stalgard® coating provides excellent corrosion resistance. They are available in 3/16" and 1/4" diameter.

ConFlex® Large Diameter Masonry Anchors

Brand new to the market, these 3/8" and 1/2" diameter masonry anchors have several unique features. They receive Elco Flex Technology® dual heat treat to make them virtually immune to brittle failures. Required drill bits are standard ANSI sizes. The standard finish is Elco Stalgard coating for great corrosion resistance.

PanelMate® Hurricane Panel Anchoring System

Attach plywood and other hurricane panels to masonry or wood quickly and easily. There is a Panelmate for just about any application, with male or female threads and even long lengths for brick veneer applications. The new Panelmate insert can be easily used in place of caulk-in type lead anchors.

Rapid-Set® “Caulk-In” Type Anchor InstallationTool

These tools have two advantages when installing 10-24, 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 caulk-in or corker type lead anchors: when used with a power tool, they complete the installation very rapidly and maximize the holding power by pulling up the insert rather than pushing down the lead.

Fab-Lok® Bolt & Sleeve Anchors

For securely attaching components to light gage steel such as building panels or decking, the body of the sleeve collapses as the bolt is turned. The resulting “legs” clamp securely. Standard product has aluminum body but a new heavy duty all steel version (Fab-Lok HD) is now available.

Self-Drilling Screws with Extended Drilling Capacity

For the more demanding applications in thicker steel, Elco carries a wide selection of domestically produced drill screws. They are available in lengths up to 8". Many are stocked with bonded sealing washers. All such parts are standard with Elco’s Stalgard® corrosion resistant finish.

Self-Drilling Screws for Wood-to-Steel Applications

For common wood-to-steel applications, Elco manufactures and stocks a wide variety of parts. Most incorporate reaming “wings” to insure maximum performance. All parts are now standard with grey Stalgard coating, which was developed specifi cally for use with ACQ lumber.
